Doug has been singing his entire life, and discovered Barbershop Harmony when he retired and moved to Bend about 6 years ago. He is married and has two grown children. Besides singing, other hobbies include woodworking, fly fishing, kayaking, hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
Milt has been involved with music from an early age. Growing up in Eastern Colorado, his family had a small band that played for local dances. Milt played the sax, drums & sometimes did some singing. He taught himself to play the trumpet while on board ship in the Navy. His career as an Industrial Engineer resulted living in several areas of the U.S. where he usually sang in church choirs.
8+ years ago he and his wife, Susan, moved to central Oregon and were thrilled to find so much good music available in the area. Initially he joined the Cascade Horizon Band where he played the saxophone. After deciding that the band had more than enough saxophones he began singing with Marty in a quartet from The Falls at Eagle Crest. Marty then talked him into joining the Harmoneers. Last year he sang with another quartet for the Valentine fund raisers.
Milt & his wife have 2 grown & married children who live in southern California and 4 incredibly brilliant and beautiful grandchildren!!

Bob has been involved in music all of his life. He sang his first solo at the ripe old age of 4 and has been singing ever since. Moving to Alaska in 1972 he joined the Midnight Sons Barbershop Chorus in Anchorage. He was also involved with other music groups in the area, playing in various shows, mostly musicals in the area before moving to Kenai. There, he formed a quartet that was together for about 3 years until medical problems broke them up. In 2010 Bob moved to Redmond, and in his words, "I just love the high desert area." Bob joined the High Desert Harmoneers just after his arrival adding his rich bass voice to the chorus.
Jed has been singing with the Harmoneers for 17 years. He was one of those baby boomers who enjoyed musicals and especially “The Music Man”. Jed was often found offstage on stage crew or in the orchestra pit playing the drums. He unintentionally got sucked into playing “Stewpot” in a local production of “South Pacific”, which is where Ray Jones found him and introduced him to Barbershop singing. It took 10 years to get the confidence to sing in a Valentine Quartet which has become his favorite activity. “What could be more fun than singing to strangers on Valentine’s Day and watching their faces light up with enjoyment”. Jed has held several offices for the Harmoneers and ventured to Salem to sing with the Salem Senate-Aires twice in International Competitions.
